Overeating is gone
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12
Verse Reflections: God promises us in this verse that He can remove our past sins, our old habits, from us. He will cast them as far as from the East is from the West, which means we cannot stretch our arms wide enough to bring them back to us. We cannot form a path that will allow them to intersect again. All of our habits that have haunted us are gone. God has removed them. He has not moved them, He has removed them. They are gone. We need to accept the fact that they are gone. Don’t try to find them again, don’t anticipate their return, do not search your mind to see if they are there. They are gone. Eliminated. Removed. Celebrate His power. Realize that this mind boggling move has changed you. He has thrown Your sins, Your past relationship with food away. We can no longer see, feel, hear, touch, smell or taste the pull of unhealthy foods. We are healed. We have had the power of foods removed as far as the east is from the west.
Prayer: God, I praise You for loving me. Embrace me even as I claim this power. I am relieved to know that You have removed the power of food so far away that I cannot see it, feel it or allow it near me. I am going to claim this promise and let it rest inside my soul. Your power is amazing and I give You the authority to throw away my unhealthy habits. You are all powerful. You are beyond my wildest imagination. You have thrown my sins beyond the sunset and beyond the sunrises. I cannot pull it back from the edges of infinity. I am humbled by the thought that I cannot even see my transgressions anymore. They are totally gone. I cannot bring them back. Thank You, Father, for loving me enough to move my weaknesses that far from me. I am humbled. Today, we are going to change and ensure that we are moving forward and not even squinting our eyes in an attempt to see our old habits. Today, and every day forward we will eat God foods.
