“Do not be moved”
For David says of him: I saw the Lord ever before me; because His at my right hand, I will not be moved. Acts 2:25
Verse Reflections: Positioning a guest on your right is a place of honor and power. David reminds us that God walks before us and sits in the place of power. That means we do not have to waiver. We do not have to worry. God goes before us to pave the way on our path of living healthy. We can depend on His power indicated by the position He holds to our right. We will NOT be moved. Say it again, we will NOT be moved! It is so easy to start this journey but allow ourselves a back door to run through if the journey becomes hard. We need to firmly close the back door and commit. He will guide your decisions—from resisting processed snacks to embracing the nourishment He provides through nature. God is at your right hand, ready to strengthen you when the path feels too hard. When cravings tempt you or progress feels slow, remember that He is close, offering support and encouragement. Lean into His presence during those moments of struggle, knowing that His strength is sufficient for you. Determination is essential for this journey. When our commitment wavers or we face setbacks, we must remind ourselves of the unshakable foundation we have in Christ. With Him at our side, we can stand firm in our commitment to choose foods that nourish our body and habits that promote health. Let His steadfast presence before us and at our right hand inspire our resolve to press on, no matter the obstacles.
Prayer: God, I have so little confidence in me that I often second guess my commitment to eating Your foods. Somehow, I convince myself that tomorrow will be better. Who am I fooling? Today is the only day that will ever change my life. Thank You for the changes I am seeing. Eating Your foods has eliminated my physical cravings that had me convinced I had to go on medication to change. Thank You! I can see You going before me. Continue to change me make me into a healthy eating person that “will not be moved”. Lord, thank You for being at my right hand and guiding me on this journey to health. Help me to see You ever before me, keeping my focus on You as I make choices that honor the body You’ve given me. Strengthen my resolve when I feel weak, and remind me that I will not be moved when I rely on Your presence. Thank You for being my anchor and my source of strength. Today we will eat God foods and we will exercise with joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
